The Ceremony
Our ideas for our ceremony are still in the very early stages right now. I still have to confirm which room we're even having it in, but we know we want the decor to have a winter feel.
I love this look! I'm thinking of using branches we bought from another knottie like this, lining the aisle.
Bouquets
I'd really like to do bouquets of roses and other flowers in whites and pale blues. Some small pine cones may also serve as pretty accents. It would definitely fit in well with mimicking the leaves from our first wedding.
I love the colors in this bouquet.
I love the inclusion of the pine cones in this bouquet.
The Ceremony
Our officiant is designing a personal ceremony for us, which we're really excited about since it will be so different from our Catholic Nuptial Mass we had the first time around.
Readings:
We wanted readings that were short and sweet. We think we'll be using these two:
I think this one is perfect for us since we're both science geeks:
Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.
-Albert Einstein
Understand, I'll slip quietly
Away from the noisy crowd
When I see the pale
Stars rising, blooming over the oaks.
I'll pursue solitary pathways
Through the pale twilit meadows,
With only this one dream:
You come too.
From "First Poems," Rainer Maria Rilke

Music
The ceremony music wasn't included so we hired the DJ for this task. Our first wedding was in a church so our music choices were rather limited. It was also a more serious affair. This time around, we want the music to be more fun.
Pre-Wedding Music Ideas
While our guests are arriving and waiting for the ceremony to start, we thought it would be fun to play piano covers of some of our favorite songs and genres. DH and I both love piano music and rock, so it's very fitting for both of us. These are the songs we've come up with:
“The Unforgiven” (Metallica) Covered by Vitamin Piano
“Need You Now” (Lady Antebellum) Covered by Piano Tribute Players
“Hard To See” (Five Finger Death Punch) Covered by Piano Tribute Players
“Here Without You” (3 Doors Down) Covered by Piano Tribute Players
“Livin’ On a Prayer” (Bon Jovi) Covered by Piano Tribute Players
“Don’t You Wanna Stay” (Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson) Covered by Piano Tribute Players
“Decode” (Paramore) Covered by Michael Simone
“Hallelujah” Covered by Michael Simone
Ceremony Music
For our processional, we're using “Nothing Else Matters” (Metallica) Covered by Vitamin Piano
We've chosen James Durbin's cover of "Maybe I'm Amazed" for the recessional.
Programs
We're going to keep the booklet style program from our last wedding, and redo it in winter colors! Perhaps white ribbon and text pages, with a blue metallic cover and our monogram?
I drafted the programs and the layout has worked out like this:
Page 1: Title page with our names, date, location and "I Do All Over Again"
Pages 2-4: "The Wedding Party" listing the officiant, parents' names, wedding party names (current), and the rest of our wedding party from our first wedding as our "honorary wedding party"
Pages 5-6: An outline of the ceremony with the text of our two short readings.
Page 7: Our "Thank Yous," which are listed below:
To Our Wedding Guests
Thank you to all of our family and friends who have yet again traveled near and far to share in our day. Our “I Do All Over Again” is doubly blessed with your support, kindness, and love.
To Our Vendors
We have been so excited to work with all of you, some for the second time. We have been overwhelmed by your generosity and are very grateful for your help in creating this special day.
To The Nicotra’s
Words cannot wholly convey our gratitude for being given the opportunity to create more memories with our loved ones, here at Nicotra’s Ballroom. More than three years have passed since our wedding day, and it ranks among the happiest days of our lives, as we expect it always will. The event was as beautiful as any fairytale; a night fitting of a story beginning with “Once upon a time...” You have given us the chance to have a “once in a lifetime” moment, twice and for that, we will be forever thankful. We are truly humbled by your generosity and hope your generosity is always reflected in our marriage and our lives.
Thank you for everything.
Love,
Jamie Lynn and Tom

The Finished Programs
A photo of our finished programs, complete with our monograms to which we added a rhinestone with a hotfix gun.
Decor
We're also thinking of reusing some of the silver lanterns (similar to these) we had left over as pew decorations for this ceremony. It would definitely work well for our "winter version of our last wedding" theme.
I'd also love to have blue and white rose petals aligning the aisle
"Here Comes The Bride" (Again)
My little cousin is going to be our ringbearer. He was born the day before our first wedding and was the reason his mother couldn't attend. We're thrilled to include him this time around and we're thinking of having him carry a sign like this that says "Here Comes The Bride (Again)" I'm thinking of getting this from Etsy or making it a DIY Project.
DH and I decided to DIY this project using a scrapbooking program and mounting the sign on some sort of stick or dowel. This is the sign I designed and uploaded to Kodak to print as an 11x14" print.
We didn't like the idea of the sign having a plain, white back, so we created this for the back! Totally cheesy, but I thought it was adorable nonetheless.
"Yay"
Not sure why I have a sign-obsession this time around, but I like this photo. I'm still trying to decide if there's are super cute or super cheesy, but it would be very "us" as DH and I often text one another "Yay!" when one texts the other "I Love You" or "I can't wait to see you!" We're sappy, I know.
